Good old Twitter


A large element of the BASIS Project is keeping your group sustainable for the future. One of the recent 'asks' from the groups is how to donate online.


We are grateful to Martyn Haynes @martynhaynes  on Twitter, for contributing this really handy tutorial. I recently tweeted - 'what's the best way for non charitable organisations to add a donate button?' Here's the suggestion from Martyn.


You need to factor in that there is currently a 20pence 'handling fee' for non-charitable organisations, this is mentioned in the tutorial. Ultimately it shows you how to add a button on your website via PayPal.
